This is the sixteenth annual LHS Benefits Massachusetts Biotechnology Employee Benefits Survey. One hundred and thirty-two companies participated in the 2026 survey. The Employee Benefits Survey has maintained a consistent methodology for the duration of its existence.

This survey of employee benefits was conducted online in May of 2026. Most of the survey concerned the participants’ current medical, dental, life, disability, retirement savings and paid time off plans. The survey primarily focuses on benefits, costs, employee contributions, and company employee benefits policies and practices.
